The next September 12 the Five youths Cuban prisoners of the empire will begin their 12 Anniversary of the Unjust Imprisonment, accused of crimes that didn’t make, alone for the fact of trying to preserve Cuba of actions terrorists. Let us remember that their detention happened in 1998, in the days that the boy Elian González was rescued by Special Forces of Washington, before the negative of the authorities of Miami of to return it to its father and to return to Cuba.  

This fact would only be enough to determine that Miami was not a suitable place to make a fair trial, besides the long history of aggressions and threats of organizations against the revolution criminals (in Cuba we say Mafia of Miami), that operate in the south of the Florida and that they are fomented in that city.  

The bad behavior that has characterized the performance of the office from 1998 until today, has ended up contaminating the superior level that it assists this process in the empire: the Court of Appeals of Atlanta and The Supreme Court, this entity decided last year, not to revise the case, although  as no has happened before in the judicial history of the United States, more than 10 prizes Nobel asked him to make it and that numerous parliaments, organizations and political personalities of the whole world, also requested it to him. Now we know that the revision of Ramón’s sentence, Tony and Fernando was a farce, simply the judge Lenard went down its sentences to the following one for the scale that establishes the law, what continues being unjust. 

When ratifying the verdict of guilt and to maintain Gerardo’s condemnations and René, it is demonstrated the bad intention and the savagery  

As Ricardo Alarcón has expressed, our five siblings are forbidden heroes because this whole process has been maintained secretly by the North American press means and the big international press agencies. What contrasts significantly with the media campaign of disinformation that one comes developing against Cuba and their Revolution that it is able to transform a common prisoner overnight into prisoner of conscience. 

The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) works to strengthen the unit of political action in the world through the actions that they carry out the Committees for the Liberation of the Five that they exist in different countries with which we maintain work relationships and that today they constitute the world support to our cause, to strengthen the fight inside Cuba, to make extensive by all possible means of national and international press the work of popularization of the cause that is carried out, so that all Cuba, and everybody, from any place, know that they even continue in North American jails five Cubans because they fought against the terrorism.   

There already legally is not nothing else to make, still when the lawyers of the defence have presented a “habeas corpus” in favour of Gerardo. It is in hands of the President Obama, the annulment of their sentences, and this will be achieved if we mobilize the public opinion of the United States and of the world in this sense, that it should be our work line, it is imposed to continue with the international fight for the liberation of the Five, to know more than their situation and to demand by all possible means to the American authorities that put them in freedom, convinced, like the Commandant Fidel Castro said, THAT THEY WILL RETURN.    

We are calling to all the friends, to worthy people and you joust of the United States and of the world to denounce the injustice, to press for any form to the administration Obama so that it puts them in freedom, only in that way it would demonstrate that he really wants to be a different and fair President, and it would be honouring the title of Nobel Prize of the Peace that they have granted him.
